Unreal Engine Launcher

Unreal Engine is the world’s most open and advanced real-time 3D creation tool. Continuously evolving to serve not only its original purpose as a state-of-the-art game engine, it also gives creators across industries the freedom and control to deliver cutting-edge content, interactive experiences, and immersive virtual worlds.  Each industry audience has their own set of distinct values looking to the Epic Games Launcher to deliver on their individual needs. 


To explore how the Unreal Engine team could successfully separate the launcher experience for each distinct industry audience group while facilitating usage of the UE tool as a best in class experience for each audience.


While researching the various industry audience groups, each with their own specific outputs. I noticed the audiences had very similar processes that informed the development of their products. My goal was to design a flexible system focused on providing the tools to optimize the development process. The experience focused on the ancillary mini-processes such as asset management, source control, team collaboration an other specific facets of the creators journey that could be integrated into a single Unreal Engine developer project hub.
